Why did I become an actuary?
I became interested in the actuarial field in high school after one of my math teachers recommended it to me. My class and I went to a career day at a local insurance company, and after meeting the actuaries there, I decided that I also wanted to be an actuary. I enjoy math, playing chess, and sometimes (just sometimes) I even enjoy studying.

What are my career goals right now?
Right now, I'm building a career in actuarial science with a long-term goal of finding innovative 💡 insurance pricing solutions for recent technologies, such as autonomous cars 🚘 and cyber risk 💻.
I'm currently working on improving my coding skills 🔗 and building a foundational knowledge of actuarial work so that I can succeed in my future endeavors. Most importantly, I have my eyes set on an ACAS designation and am actively studying for my next exam.
